Current Project

Objective - Design and build a wearable computer system for under $300!
                  That didn't work great so see Version II.....

Hardware - Version I: based on a modified vintage 486/50 laptop computer (currently being acquired), 20mb RAM, ~800mb HD.

                - Version II: HP 4100 (PII 266 with 64meg of ram) and a CD rom.

Operating System - Storm Linux, and X11. (Still trying to get sound to work!)

Applications - text-speech output, voice recognition input.  Video input/face recognition(?).  Shared database with a mirror system (worn by someone else).

Currently the Wearables server is up from around 12:00 midnight till 6:30am
